The cracks and open joints in this concrete sidewalk were allowing water access to the substrate compounding the settling that was causing the many cracks. We removed and replaced all of the wood sidewalk filler and installed closed cell backer rod and new urethane self-leveling sealant. A new bead of sealant was installed against the wall where sidewalk meets the building and tooled to a uniform finish.

The cracks running the lengths of the sidewalk were routed out and repaired with an epoxy self-leveling sealant. The entire sidewalk then was coated with a base coat of epoxy and then a top coat of urethane. All work was done after business hours and using quick drying material. There was no disruption to the businesses.
